Day 7 of Becoming More Productive And Breaking Stuff!
This morning was day 7 of integrating my morning success ritual as inspired by this free video from Eben Pagan. It was also the debut of my new twist stepper that I bought yesterday as a replacement for the one I broke a few days ago.
I had a great workout on the new machine, but when I was done I noticed something odd – one of the pedals kept bumping into the stand below, and upon closer inspection I see that the left pedal attachment is bent!
Yes, it’s true – I BROKE THE NEW MACHINE TOO!
It might not be so noticable on the picture, but the arm sticking out of the center column is bent (see where the arrow points). Hey I’m not THAT heavy, so there must have been some manufacturing fault. Argh. Now I have to go return it and hope they have a replacement unit.
But I’m not giving up on the step/twist machine, I’ll get a new one. It’s my favorite, dang it!

A couple of marketing lessons
If you look carefully at the picture, you’ll see three more things in addition to the broken twist stepper.
1. An apology card and a box (containing delicious Gourmet Fudge Brownies) with a red bow on from SendOutCards. That is a gift from Russell Brunson and his affiliate manager, because they goofed with an affiliate check that bounced. Not only did they replace in full the costs I incurred because of the bounce, but they also sent this apology package. Now THAT is customer service that is worth sitting up and taking notice of! – Do you think I might be MORE or less inclined to work with these cool guys in the future? – Thank you Brent Coppieters and Russell Brunson for this great marketing lesson.
2. An oversized postcard saying “What kind of car does Perry Marshall drive?”. Again, do you think I might pay special attention to what Perry Marshall has to say with that card? Absolutely. Great lesson Perry, thanks. You get free backlinks from me for that. You know where to send the chocolate and/or check, hehehe.
3. I also have my personally autographed copy of Ken McArthurs latest book, “Impact! – How to get noticed, motivate millions and make a difference in a noisy world”. I include it here to underline the point, that you must do something extraordinary to get noticed and make a difference.
Mind Movies CLOSING!
Now this is something I am actually pretty mad about not bringing to your attention earlier. For some reason I had convinced myself that the Mind Movies product was going to be around even after the big launch, but apparently they want to close it for sale after tomorrow. I just don’t understand that, why keep a great product from the public when all they need to do is get their fulfillment company to print up a new batch!?
