Here Are My Affirmations for 2010

Last year around this time I posted my 2009 Affirmations. A lot of people found them helpful, so I decided to do a new set of Affirmations for 2010.

The past year has been good to me in many ways, but it is also clear that it could have gone much better if I had a clear and constant vision of what I am about and what I do. Lack of a clear vision, goals and consequently the absence of a plan and focus has cost me much lost business and frustration.

I have given much thought to what SINGLE THING I wanted to focus on in 2010. Everything else should be secondary to that single thing. I have decided that 2010 will be the year that “I am a Writer”.

In 2010 I am going to develop and sharpen my writing skills, with the clear goal to become so good at copywriting that people will demand and prefer my services as a skilled copywriter.

With that introduction, here is my final set of …

New Year 2010 Affirmations

Writing

  • I am a writer
  • I write my own copy
  • My writing creates wealth
  • Words come to me easily
  • I express myself clearly
  • I write persuasively
  • I write a lot

Business

  • My business is constantly growing
  • I adopt successful processes
  • I model successful people
  • I keep it simple and easy
  • I practice what I teach
  • I always have a plan
  • I test everything

Personal

  • My finances are constantly improving
  • I go out, meet people and have fun
  • I keep a balanced and sharp mind
  • I am successful at whatever I do
  • I have healthy and fit body
  • I am generous and giving
  • I attract love

I would like to go into greater detail with some of the individual affirmations and the reasoning why I chose them, but I am out of time for now. I plan to make that subjects for future posts and articles … after all, I AM A WRITER!

Here’s to a great 2010!

Odinn

These are excellent affirmations. I will adopt some of them. An affirmation I must employ is that I am a light being expressing joy, peace and harmony, manifesting abundance, health and creativity, ready to let go of all that holds me back. I am ready to fly into my destiny with arms and heart open to all that is.

happiest new year ever.

snow lion blessings,
Susanna Jade

Hi Odinn,

As you can see from the url of my site I am a firm believer in the use of affirmations and a positive attitude.

I have yet to break even working online full time for 2 years, 12 hours a day or more but I have extremely high expectations for 2010.

I am completely disabled after 6 brain tumors and surgeries as well as suffering from violent seizures 2 or 3 times a week. The rare genetic disorder I have been diagnosed with caused the collapse of my larynx 2 or 3 years ago so I have a permanent trach in my neck that allows me to breathe although it has stripped me of my ability to speak.

Before I was taken down by this disorder at age 35 I was a highly successful professional boxer earning a minimum of $50,000 a fight and I owned a gym as well as a $2,000,000 a year (gross) wholesale florist business. I was known as “The Fighting Florist.” I had also taken second place by a close decision at the World Championship Toughman Contest. I really had it all!

Then I was hit with massive medical costs because the medical trial I was in had not been approved by the fda so my insurance company used that as a reason to not pay my expenses. I fought them for 3 years in court which cost me well over $20,000 and I lost.

Because I had put away so much money I could not file bankruptcy and it wiped me completely out. I nearly had a million dollars at the age of 38 and now I am 44 living on a whooping $1597 a month from disability.

So I promised my wife that 2010 was my year to become hugely successful again!

So watch out GURU’s I am coming for you, I know I am going to find that missing piece and when I do I am going to give the life I promised my wife and daughter back to them and then some!

Moral of the story…..NEVER GIVE IN!…….NEVER GIVE UP! DREAM BIG DREAMS AND YOU’LL ACHIEVE GREAT THINGS!

HUH! Go figure I just meant to say kudos on the positive attitude and positive drive.

I wish you a happy new year and an extremely prosperous one as well!

Sincerely,
Howard

Hello Odinn,

Thanks very much for sharing these affirmations with us. I like that you call them “Affirmations” (something different from “Goals” and “Resolutions”.

I’m definitely adopting some of these, and adding some of my own. Then I’ll laminate the list and keep it prominently displayed on my desk.

Happy New Year to you and yours,

Karen

P.S. – I just read Howard’s post above mine. Howard, I wish you all the best in the New Year. Life has given you a challenge much greater than most of us, yet your attitude is also more positive than most people’s. You are a real inspiration.

There is only one affirmetion that I have ever expressed – I am who I am and what life throws at me will improve or damage me – I will continue to refuse to be damaged by squeezing the benefit from every event in my life.

Odinn

Thank you for sharing your powerful, direct affirmations! I have been busy setting goals for 2010 and these are a terrific complement! I don’t do resolutions, rather I choose to look at what wasn’t working – release some things and tweak others! I appreciate the quality of the information you share and love being on your list!

Keep up the terrific work!
